Hopefully this is the right place, if not my sincere apologies!
I've been playing street fighter for years mainly on consoles from II Turbo on snes, up to IV on pc/xbox. I'm looking to get a little more involved and get good... I feel an arcade stick will be a boost and a good way to prepare for playing in my local arcade.
I've done a fair bit of research but felt I could use some advice and maybe be given some options other than what I have discovered by myself when it comes to sorting out a stick!
My specific requirements are what led me to starting my own thread (as I'm aware there is a lot of 'what stick?' posts already.)
What I'm looking for is:
•Universal format (XBOX 360, PS3, PC)
•Small casing so I can carry it around easier than a TE stick.
•Arcade quality components.
•Japanese arcade style button layout
•Fairly affordable
I won't have a problem with modding (obviously chucking in sanwa parts etc) but I wouldn't really want to build the case from scratch. I was initially looking at the Datel Arcade Pro but noticed that the button layout was kinda off...
If anyone has any suggestions or ideas I'd really appreciate it.
