Anyone know how to re-fasten the mounting plate back onto the base plate of an xTK stick without jacking up all the electronics? Someone told me that welding it back on with everything still assembled will burn up the components and cause irrepairable damage. Seems like all it needs are 4 little spot welds but i dont how to get it done safely...id really like to use this stick again.
