Morning all.
Little back story, i got a really good deal on a old Williams arcade cab (I think it started life as a Sinistar cab) i found 2 manuals in it, one for Sinistar, one for Trivia Wiz and whats in it currently is Pit Boss.
It powers on and Pit boss works so i'm going to try and salvage the PCB and sell it but the monitor is pretty heavily burned with what looks like mix of Sinistar vertically and Pitt Boss horizontally so i don't have a lot of hope i'll get much for it. It's a Wells-Gardener 19k4951 and it does have the manuals for it so between the two items i think i can at least get my investment back.
The cab itself is a bit beat up but nothing a lot of bondo and sanding wont fix so i can turn it into something nice.
The control panel is shot, it's been drilled and redrilled at least 3 times, the wood is chewed up pretty badly so i'm going to start from scratch.
I was really wondering, since the cab is fairly slim and and have a bit of a small form factor on the control panel, i was considering making a box bolted to the hinges and sides to expand it to something a bit wider but coming out of previous control panel location a good 5-6 inch's.
Anyone have any experience retro fitting something like this?
I had considered restoring it to a Sinistar, but the PCB price vs one already restored doesn't make it worth it.
