I bought Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition PC in 2011, the game came out in 2010.
I have not played the game because it is literally impossible and do not want to use the Games for Windows Marketplace Client. I have read http://www.capcom-unity.com/combofiend/blog/2014/05/27/ssfivae-gfwl-to-steamworks-transition and also http://shoryuken.com/2014/05/27/super-street-fighter-iv-arcade-edition-transitioning-from-games-for-windows-live-to-steamworks-on-may-30/ and I am so glad that I can play on Steam.
I tried the following:
Code Redeem Process:
i. Launch the Steam client software and log into your Steam account.
ii. Click the Games Menu.
iii. Choose Activate a Product on Steam...
iv. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the process. Once you’ve successfully redeemed your code, you will be able to download the Steamworks version of the game.
But steam says that the code is invalid.
Now I only have the Live Access Code and the Games for Win Marketplace client shows me the following in Game Activation Key: "No key assigned".
I have also tried redeeming the game on xbox.com using my id and the Live Access Code and got an error code which asked me to contact support. Did that and waited a long time to chat on https://sales.liveperson.net only to be forwarded to another person and then being given a number where I called and got a waiting time of 30 minutes.
Also saw https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=8782-WECN-1190 and they too say that you need to contact Games for Windows website.
Have tried chat, cant wait on phone for so long.
